Quick Honey Soy Salmon with Broccolini

Quick honey soy salmon with pan fried broccolini

turned out amazing!

This recipe is for one person but you could easily double the ingredients

 

1 piece salmon cut into 8 pieces

oil of choice for frying

1 bunch broccolini ( cut the tops off then cut the stems in half lengthways )

2 cloves garlic minced

Toasted sesame seeds

 

Sauce

 

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon sesame oil

Heat up a fry pan to a high heat, add a small amount of oil plus the broccolini, saute for 10 minutes. I like to add a few splashes of kettle water to speed up the cooking process.

Once the broccolini is almost cooked add the garlic and saute for a few minutes. Season with sea salt then transer to your Serving bowl.

In the same pan add a small splash of oil then add in the salmon pieces. Fry the salmon for 1 minute each side then add the sauce, cook for another minute or two or until the sauce is bubbling and thickened a little.

Serve the salmon on top of the broccolini then pour the sauce over top.

Garnish with sesame seeds and serve immediately!
