Stir fry beef and vegetables with crispy vermicelli noodles


Stir Fry Ingredients


1 packet dried vermicelli noodles

500g beef rump diced

1 brown onion sliced

4 cloves garlic minced

1 Green or Red capsicum cut into bite size pieces

1 carrot sliced thin

1 cup cauliflower florets

1/2 cup cabbage cut into bite size pieces

Sesame seeds to garnish



3 tablespoons oyster sauce

3 tablespoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon dark soy sauce

2 teaspoons malt vinegar

1 teaspoon sugar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 tablespoons Chinese cooking wine

Black pepper to taste


Combine all sauce ingredients together in a bowl.


To cook the dried vermicelli noodles you simply place into a deep fryer on 180degrees, it will puff up instantly. Drain on paper towel.

Heat up a fry pan to a high heat, add the diced beef and brown well.

Remove the beef from the pan and set aside. In the same pan add the garlic, onion, carrot and cauliflower, stir fry for 5 minutes, add the capsicum and cabbage stir fry for a few minutes then add the beef back in with the sauce.

Stir fry for 1 minute and serve on top of the crispy vermicelli noodles, garnish with sesame seeds. Enjoy!


This will serve 2-4 people depending on portion size.
